Director of Technical Services, graduated Magna cum laude with a
Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering and a concentration
in Digital Systems and Computers from the Autonomous Metropolitan
University in Mexico City, Mexico.
Mr.
Saucedo started his career in computers in 1989, giving technical
support in the computer laboratory at the university. After graduating,
Mr. Saucedo continued his career in computers giving technical support,
consulting and developing implementations for AS400 and network
PC Software for multinational companies. In 1995 he started working
for Ofiventas y Servicios as the Manager of the computer division,
where he developed the technical sales force nationwide and structured
sales operations. In the first six months of operations, the department
achieved total sales of 3 million dollars despite Mexico being in
a severe economic recession. This made Microsoft-Mexico approach
Ofiventas y Servicios to create a partnership program using the
technical staff to help in the retail sales arena.
Looking
for new horizons and challenges, Mr. Saucedo moved to Chicago and
worked as a Senior Technician-Engineer for Logic Plus. Based on
his skills and his approach to customer services, Mr. Saucedo was
promoted to Service Manager of the repair department during a merger
with a consulting firm in downtown Chicago. Some of his achievements
include a 75% reduction in turn-around time for repairs and a 100%
increase in the numbers of customers due to his approach to customer
service and the response time for repairs.
