Vice
President, National Sales is the voice of the client at Tabin Corporation.
Cory has built the sales organization around the philosophy of sales
rep empowerment, balanced with accountability.
Cory
earned his BA in Business Administration at Illinois State University
and began his technology career in 1993 at ASAP Software in Buffalo
Grove. The desire for a higher level of client interaction led him
to the Outside Sales Department at Hartford Computer Group. There,
he made the acquaintance of Joshua Tabin. "When Josh left Hartford
and decided to strike out on his own, I was skeptical. I became
very interested when I realized a fresh new company could flourish
without the 'sales prevention departments' I had previously experienced."
In
1997 Cory accepted the position as Tabin Corporation's first official
Outside Sales Rep. As sales steadily increased, Cory was asked to
fill the position of Director of Sales in 1998 and in 2001 became
Tabin's first Vice President. The sales department has since grown
to more than 24 sales people, with sales surpassing $27 million
in 2000 and is forecasting at least $40 million in 2001.
